Providing qualified Child Safe Officers to ensure a safe, supportive, and compliant environment at school sports, community events, and competitions across Australia.
All Child Safe Officers hold valid Working With Children Checks or VIT registration, ensuring a professional and trustworthy presence at your event.
Officers are easily identifiable on-site and trained to support students, parents, and staff with any child safety concerns throughout the event.
Our team assists with implementing and overseeing child safety procedures, reporting processes, and compliance checks to maintain safe environments.
From small school competitions to large-scale community events, our officers are equipped to handle varying responsibilities and crowd dynamics.
At Sports Aid, we take a meticulous approach to selecting our Child Safe Officers. Each officer is chosen for their background in youth engagement, education, or sport and for their proven ability to create safe, supportive environments for children. All placements are subject to reference checks, and every officer holds a valid Working With Children Check or VIT registration. Officers are inducted and briefed before each assignment to ensure alignment with event-specific expectations and responsibilities.
Our Child Safe Officers are trained in safeguarding principles, child protection protocols, and effective communication with both children and adults. Many bring experience from schools, sporting organisations, or community youth programs. Sports Aid supports ongoing training and encourages regular upskilling to ensure all officers remain informed and capable of responding appropriately to safety concerns or incidents on-site.
Our officers arrive fully prepared, uniformed, and easily identifiable to all participants and staff. They are briefed before each event and held to high standards of professionalism, conduct, and communication. We utilise mobile check-ins, Connecteam, and real-time scheduling tools to confirm attendance and monitor reliability. This ensures peace of mind for event organisers and a trusted, visible presence for children and their families.
